SeatSolve Privacy Policy

Overview

SeatSolve is provided by Sleepycat Software LLC. It is a local-first event seating application and does not require an account.

Information stored on the device

SeatSolve stores the following information locally on your device:

• Events and optional event details
• Tables and seating capacities
• Guest names and party or relationship groups
• Seating preferences, keep-together rules, and keep-apart rules
• Generated arrangements and saved arrangements
• Solver-run and free-tier usage state

Event data is stored in the app's local database. Sleepycat Software does not receive or store your guest lists, seating preferences, or arrangements on its servers.

CSV import, exports, and backups

Guest CSV import uses the operating system's document picker. SeatSolve generates PDF and CSV exports and event backups locally on the device.

When you choose to share, save, or print an export or backup, the file is passed to the operating system's share or file interface. The selected third-party app or destination is governed by its own privacy practices.

Purchases

SeatSolve offers an optional one-time SeatSolve Pro purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device. SeatSolve uses RevenueCat to verify and restore purchase entitlement.

RevenueCat may process:

• An anonymous app user identifier
• Device type
• Operating-system information
• App activity timestamps used for entitlement operation
• Apple purchase receipts
• Google purchase tokens
• Purchase and entitlement history

Sleepycat Software does not receive or store users' complete payment-card information. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Support communications

SeatSolve does not collect an email address through an in-app account. When you contact support voluntarily, Sleepycat Software receives the information included in the email, such as:

• Email address
• Message content
• Screenshots or attachments
• Device or troubleshooting details you choose to provide

This information is used to answer and resolve the support request.

Features SeatSolve does not use

The current SeatSolve application does not include:

• User accounts
• Advertising
• Third-party behavioral analytics
• Location access
• Contacts access
• Microphone or camera access
• Cloud storage or cloud synchronization of event contents
• Social features

Data retention and deletion

• Event data remains on the device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to operating-system backup and restoration behavior.
• Export and backup files you create are under your control and can be deleted like any other file.
• Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
• Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

SeatSolve is a general-purpose event utility and is not directed specifically to children under 13. Sleepycat Software does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through SeatSolve.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when SeatSolve's functionality, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are published.
